Hi,
Is it possible to keep stock records of more than one unit for a single material? We are running a 4,6C IS-Retail and do not use WM in SAP.
Example: Material A have 12 PC per CAR and 50 CAR per PAL. But we can also have the material as an expo pallet, i e a pallet with 600 PC that are unbreakable in warehouse, ie only sold as a whole pallet.
It is not OK to just know that we have for example 1800 PC in WH. We must know that we have 2 "unbreakable" expo-pallets and 600 PC in 50 CAR.
Can we do this without needing to create two separate materials, one for the unbreakable expo-pallet and one for the PC/CAR-handling? We also need to be able to do different pricing on the expo-pallet and the PC/CAR.
If not now, will it be possible in ECC6.0 that we are upgrading to within a year?
best regards,
Glenn
Hi,
To my knowledge its only possible if you use warehouse management, In WH management its possible to stocks in a WM unit instead of the base unit.
in the MMR you could have
Base unit as No
Order Unit as KG
Order Price Unit as Ton and
WM unit as any thing else with necessary conversion maintained in MMR
Pl check

Merwyn
