SAP PM - Issuing Plant Spares through MIGO or Maintenance Order

Hi

What will be the difference between two under mentioned scenarios :

Scenario 1 - Issuing/Consume Plant Spares by creating PM Order through below process by T-Codes -

Create PM Order - IW21 -> Release PM Order - IW32 -> Confirm PM Order - IW41 -> Settlement - KO88

Scenario 2 - Issuing/Consume Plant Spares by MIGO by providing Equipment ID / Movement Type / Cost Center

OK, so as stated above, both Scenario 1 and 2 will perform a goods movement to the order (S1 via IW41, and S2 via MIGO) and the resulting costs will be posted to that order.

And you can view the goods movement documents via the document flow button in the order header.

Is there anything more you need to know?
