SAP HR- Cost Center Field in The Personnel Master is greyed out

Hello,

I am setting up Personnel Master via PA30. While creating Personnel Data, the cost center field in the header data is always greyed out. I tried everything to make that editable but to no avail. Although in the table T588M I am able to hide the Cost Center field but not editable.

Does anyone know if I am missing anything in config.

Hi,

Looks like you have intigration swiched on between PA and OM

In this scenario the Cost Centre cannot be keyed directly to IT0001 thru PA30, instead it will default in based on the cost centre that is linked to the position you assign to the employee thru an org reassignment or hire action

see table T77S0 and setting PLOGI ORGA

and feature PLOGI (transaction PE03)
