SAP CAL configuration issue (B1IF test connection fails)

Hello,

I started up a new appliance in CAL based on the following template: SAP Business One 10.0 PL02, version for SAP HANA

Out of the box, when I try to test the connection in B1IF (under the SLD section) for B1DI for example, I get the following error (also visible in the screenshot attached):
com.sap.b1i.adapter.dia.exception.ConnectionFailedException: Connect to Business One failed

Can someone please help me what I need to configure in order to make this work?
(I'm fairly new in the world of SAP so please make the answer as specific on what I need to change as possible).

Thank you for the quick response nidhisingh14 !

I tried openning your link, but unfortunately the page gave me an error.
Can I find somewhere else what section 2.25 says?

Hi xhuthea

In note it is mentioned:

  • Root Cause
The value in the userName field or password field in the Company SLD is invalid for the Company. In standard installations this user is the "B1i" user from the required SAP Business One Company database.
  • Solution
Ensure the "B1i" user is active and has a valid password for the required SAP Business One Company database. If needed, you can reset password for "B1i" user from Business One Client and then use the same password in B1DI settings.

Thank You.

Kind Regards

Thank you very much, it solved my issue! B1DI and JDBC connections are now working fine.

On the other hand, B1SL is still failing connection testing on my CAL appliance.
By any chance, where can I access the note 2029714? (as I said above link didn't work)
Does the note say anything about this issue?
