Hi
If you are on S/4HANA, please check if you have a posting with the profit center in ACDOCA or in ECC with new GL, check in FAGLFLEXA. You need to check how the profit center was posted to, depending on the type of transaction posting.

Profit center is derived from the CO Object in the asset master as a standard. Check in the respective asset master for the CO object and the consequent PC.
Hello Aman, default assignment of Profit center to GL can be maintained in T-code 3KEH or FAGL3KEH depending on whether you are using classic or new GL but this is not suggested, ideally PC should be derived from related cost object or master data like as below,
1. For material related posting from material master
2. For expense posting from cost object master data
3. For asset related posting from the cost object maintained in asset master.

Hi,
Profit center is derived from the Cost object assigned in the Asset master. Please check AS03 --> Time dependant tab and find if any Cost center or Internal order etc., is assigned.
Then check master data of that CO object.. in case Cost center check KS03 to see the profit center assignment.
I hope this helps.
