SNOTE 1074740 - HCM posting quantities in ERP

Hello everyone!

I am still a ABAP beginner and really want to know about the SNote 1074740 how to proceed with the solution within the note.
So far I know what I have to do (like an enhancement...) but is there any other way around to do it?
Especially the note does not really explain which fields or "steps" would be the right ones instead it says "do it somehow your own"...

It would really appreciate your help and if you have more ideas or other blogs where I can follow this one then it would be great!

What is the specific technical challenge you are facing?

Sorry but the instructions in the note seem rather clear to me. If "change method X of class Y" is not detailed enough then I'm afraid you might not be ready to work on your own. Get a more experienced person locally to assist with this. (Although I'm a bit confused why this was not covered in the training you should've received before starting this job.)
