Crystal Report colour Printing

Hi All

Is there any special setting in SAP Business One or Crystal Report Design when the print preview and PDF Colour is printing black and white on Printer?

User claim that they are able to print Crystal Report document in colour even Printer Default Output was black and white.

My understanding is that this is a printer driver issue.  If the printer settings are locked to black and white it will force the print to be black and white.

There seem to be some options in the Crystal Reports code which allow programmers to set a flag to black and white but I don't believe this is implemented in SAP Business One.  IE, we can't control it in any way other than the printer driver.

Have you tried other workstations or other printers?  Have you tried changing the default printer to something else?

I would jump on their machine and do a bit of troubleshooting where I can see it, check the printer driver setup, print to a PDF, etc.  It wouldn't surprise me if some organizations prevent colour prints if not necessary.

I don't really think this is an SAP Business One issue. Crystal Reports does not have a black & white setting that can be accessed via the UI as far as I know. It can be setup in the Crystal Reports code but the SBO runtime does not seem to include this. Jump on their machine, check their printer driver, do a print preview, if it's B&W then swap the default printer to another device and try again. It is an IT issue, not an SAP issue as far as I can tell.
