Dear Experts,

Requesting your guidance to map the customer requirement as below.

  • We have made the Reserve sample field mandatory for certain material types using enhancement.( ex>Excipients..) Existing, client created Material types only as API, Excipients , colours like that , not Groups in one Raw material type)
  • Now, client expecting the reserve quantity some times may not put for some material codes in the Material type ( ex. Liquids no reserve sample even that is in Excipient only powder they take reserve sample )
  • How to map the Reserve sample qty field allow value greater than or equal to zero..( at present system not allowing value Zero).

Regards & Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Are you using Sample drawing procedure? if yes, then change your enhancement to consider the sample drawing procedure to make VMENGE05 Required/Optional. You know that in the sample drawing procedure you maintain Reserve sample for certain SDP and do not maintain in certain SDP. Then you assign the SDP to inspection plan for material. So, you can put the logic that if the SDP is with reserve sample then make the field mandatory and if not then make it optional. Take the SDP from QALS-PRBNAVERF and then check QPRVP to verify if the SDP is having reserved sample or not.
