Hello Everybody,
I have to produce 2 finished goods AA and BB. AA and BB have 2 differents BOM ( AA uses A as raw material and BB uses B as raw material), but the routing of AA and BB are similar, because AA and BB are be procuded at the same time with the same procedure.
How can I work with the production orders of AA and BB in order to
1. Confirm the prouction oders of AA and BB at the same time
2.Do the goods issue of these 2 finished goods at the same time
Thanks for your help
Cedric M
If AA and BB have the same production process, you can have only one routing for both; on the routing header you can assign both materials.
But from here everything on is separate; you have two different production orders, and you need to confirm each one and also GI and GR individually per each production order.
An alternative to this could be (if it really is the case) to define one of them, let's say BB, as a co-product of AA. Then you have one BOM, one routing (of AA), and one production order, but will receive in stock both AA and BB.
