PPOIX records missing after PA_PDOC and PA_CALC archive runs

Hi guys.

I'm working on a project that is implementing 3 HR Archiving Objects: PA_PDOC, PA_LDOC and PA_CALC.

My role is to archive enable some custom reports so they can also retrieve archived data. Even though table PPOIX is not listed to be affected by any of these objects, after the archive runs I've noticed that records are missing.

I did some research and found that records from PPOIX can be deleted manually using a Reorganization program or archived using PA_PIDX so I contacted the client asking if any of these options were being executed but they said no.

So my question here is: is there a chance of PPOIX records being deleted by PA_PDOC, PA_LDOC or PA_CALC? While reading SAP Data Management Guide I saw that PA_PDOC might affect that table but did not understood how exactly.
