Payment run recalculate WHT icon purpose

Hi

Can you help on the purpose of the 'Recalculate Withholding Tax' icon in the Manage Automatic Payment app?

We have configured the withholding extended tax, and tested the below scenarios with the outcome on the screen as 'withholding tax was not changed'.

Scenarios have been:

• Change the WHT percentage configuration after the invoice posted.
• Change the WHT exemption percentage in the supplier master after invoice posted.
• Change the WHT tax code/tax type in the supplier master after the invoice posted.

Hello,

Te Recalculate Withholding Tax button is for the case if you change the type of the document. In this case you need to rerun the proposal.
This button is only for the case that you did some change like change cash discount and block, unblock or else.
Than after you did this action, you need to use this button to correct the withholding tax.
