Not able to Convert Posting Change Notice to Transfer Order

Hi Gurus,

I have a scenario wherein, a Usage Decision was done (QA11) for a particular material and the stock was accepted and moved to Unrestricted Use from Quality Inspection. A Transfer Order should have been automatically generated, instead Posting chage notice was generated. Now when we tried to convert the posting change notice to Transfer Order its giving following error - *No Quants exist for posting change*

What could be the Problem?

Hello,

This is common scenario that happens.

Please see the SAP note # 389492 that talks of the same issue. They recommend a possible solution for this.

Hi Jurgen / Abhihjth,

Thanks for your response....I did try to apply the above OSS Note....It did work....I could able to process PCN after deleting the Lot number in LU02....But does it have any implication on qualitty, since the Inspection lot history will be lost....
