ME2o vs. MIGO 541 vs. MB1B

I currently use ME2o to transact PO's. The problem with that is it doesn't allow me to reference a DMR#. Can I do a MIGO 541 to achieve the same thing? There I could reference the DMR#. Or is MB1B a better choice (not sure of the reference possibility there)?

Hello mcminmark,

If you transact with MIGO or MB1B there is no difference transaction wise. It's purely user choice to transact their transition as per their choice. Just to add in SAP HANA, transaction MB1A, MB1B and MB1C has been obselete and there is only single transaction code "MIGO".

As far as I know MB* transactions have been obsolete in ERP already - note 2210569 - Obsolete Material inventory management transactions:

Transaction were already outdated in SAP ERP 6.0x.

S/4HANA introduced an error message when MB* are called.
