MD11 generates qty for discontinued component

Hello Everyone,

MD11 - user do manual creation of pld ord. in MD11, MD11 still assigned qty in the discontinued component instead of follow-up material. (as checked, this can be corrected after MPS run)

Question:

Since the user is using Manual Creation, is there a way around to change planned orders to consider the follow-up material or transfer the qty to the follow-up material.

Or this should be already customized program by ABAP?

This is in SAP ECC. Thanks in advance!

If the user is manually creating planned orders in MD11 and the system is assigning quantities to the discontinued component instead of the follow-up material, this behavior may not be able to be changed without customizing the program through ABAP.

MRP will redirect the quantity to the follow-up material once you plan the discontinued product.
