Is there any way to create or edit a Manual Bank Statement manual transaction in Public Cloud?

Hi,

I couldn't find any SSCUI for the V_T028H customizing table.

So I don't think this is foreseen. Anyway if you work with S/4HANA Public Cloud you should rather try to make use of the new rule framework: https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_CLOUD/918bca53037f408f91a2295d04ac16bc/d6fe6526b26f46e59d9d1dd0...

The manual transaction was added from the "old posting rule" world. And we work currently on deprecating those old posting rules sometime in the far future.

Hi Edrilan,

2 questions here please:

1- so for my understanding the manual transactions used in MBS will no longer be used, so if my client needs to have custom transactions to manage his bank statement items -and I face this more often with current on-prem clients for which we create new manual transactions- I can not do that on Public Cloud, right ? I navigated to the link you gave me but it is about the reprocessing rules for unprocessed bank statement items which is good for the 2nd step but I am stuck in the first step.

2- How can I check if there is a SSCUI for a certain table as you mentioned ?

Hi Ahmed, the processing rules do both, one step processing rules who post the bank statement in the first posting area do exist. The link that I send you is not about "reprocessing" rules for unprocessed items. We changed the naming because we do want to deprecate posting rules and the "Processing Rules" (not "Re"-processing but Processing) should be used instead. Related to your second question this note should be the answer for you: https://userapps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/en/2754127

Okay I got it now, Thanks a million Edrilan, I will check the processing rules app and try to use it in the best way. Thanks also for the note.
