Main Work Center is missing in the list of IW28/29

Hello Gurus,

We are getting a strange problem. We are using ECC 5.0

As Main work center is a mandatory field in IW21 but there are some notification without Main Work Center in IW28/29 list.

Why we are getting these notifications without workcenter?

The Main Work Center field is Mandatory and if we are opening any notification from the list of which workcenter is missing, the system is NOT allowing us to exit the scrreen unless we'll put any workcenter.

There is NO enhancement done for notifications, and we are getting this problem irrespective of date, creater and notificaton type. In IW28/29 list there are some notifications on same day, created by different users, with and without main work center.

Request you please let me know what went wrong with the system.

Has anybody encountered this kind of problem....

Ravinder: just a thought: check maybe the influences of the work center in the SPRO field selection for notifications.....things like set/get or influences from functional location or a bunch of other things (that you can find in the field selection itself).
