LSMW for PA30

Hi All,

I have created a couple of LSMW programs to upload data in to Infotypes 7 & 8. I have two questions:

1. When running the LSMW how do I display the personnel numbers of the employees who have failed?

2. Can I run the LSMW in test mode before I do it live?

Please advise?

Hello Mike,

1. While executing the LSMW in batch mode, you can select the option Display Errors only which results in stopping the LSMW exactly at the point of error. By this way, you can correct the error and continue executing the LSMW.

2. What I do normally is that I use the Display Converted Data option which acts as a test run to see if the fields are getting converted properly. Also as suggested by one of my colleagues above, you can do a run for two employees and see if the data get uploaded successfully.
