There is a requirement where we have labours with different skill levels. For example, labour categories are A, B & C and production rate for:
Category A can produce Product “X” 100 pcs/hr
B – 150/hr
C – 200/hr
And For Product “Y”
A – 100/hr
B – 100/hr
C – 200/hr
For example, we consider we have 2 labours for each category.
Production requirement for X is 2000 and for Y is 3000
1. Here can system suggest an optimized plan? And
2. Requirement is, planner should have flexibility to allocate labours here and there and do the detailed level scheduling.
3. Create the simulation versions of planning to compare and select more suitable plan.
Like 2A + 1B labours on production order of X product and
1B+ 2C labours on production order of Y product
Or
2A + 2B labours on production order of X product and
2C labours on production order of Y product
Please suggest in PPDS, what master data we have to maintain and how we can do the planning.
I was thinking to use the pool capacity but not sure how to define and how to use it on DS board and even not if there is another better way to do it.
