Issue with Time Events

Dear Experts,

I have a Issue with +Time Management and am new to this.

Presently our client is using -time Mgt( 3 Rotational Shifts + Gen Shft)., maintaining only absences., now they want to implement this also. (Schema TM04)

My workings as follows

Here i have changed/maintined IT0007 with TM status as 1, IT0050 with sap defaults  and in IT2011  P10 & P20 with actual timings.

I come accross following queries.

1. If Ee is not at work showing warning message ---- this need tobe changed to Error Msg

2. If Ee is punched for half day then there is no error message while Time Evaluation

3. Payroll is processing Even if time events are not maintained

4. While time Evaluation Shift timings are not considering or mathcing with punch timings ( ie.,accepting any time in/out)

5. while processing payroll system should check both IT2011 and 2001 if there is no data for any day then system should throw error

6. we have some grace timings for in punch and limits for early exits

Please guide me how can i proceed with this, if any PCR is required please help

Hi Sanjeev,

If your questions are related to +ve time management find answers below:

1- System will terminiate time evaluation for EE not just warning.

2- what do you mean by punch for half day? if you mean EE come late or leave early you should implement automatic absence generation. By this solution system will generate absence record in IT2001 for missing hours based on EE's work schdule rule(WSR).

3- Payroll processing is not depend on time evaluation if controls by payroll control record.

4- In time evalaution the schema (TM00) is responsible for this issue. By defult system consider WSR and you can see it in output of DEFTP function in output log of time evaluation.

5- As I said payroll is just consider output of time evalaution and reads them from cluster tables. By running time evalaution you can see the result of cluster tables through tcode PT66. Infact payroll reads time wage types and can import records of IT2001. In payroll schema have a look function RAB(Import absences)

6- I didn't understand what do you mean and what is your conditions.

You can find lots of documents and topics related to +ve time management. I recommend to start by search on SCN and go ahead to implement your requirements one by one then put your spesific questions here. I am sure you can do it

- User operation COLERXXE (XX=message no)

2. If Ee is punched for half day then there is no error message while Time Evaluation.

- System is not giving error. It's giving the information message.

3. Payroll is processing Even if time events are not maintained

- Payroll will run even you have n't run time evaluation.

4. While time Evaluation Shift timings are not considering or mathcing with punch timings ( ie.,accepting any time in/out)-

That can be deviation as per schedule. Ask to client what they want for this.

5. while processing payroll system should check both IT2011 and 2001 if there is no data for any day then system should throw error.

In payroll driver there have no such possiblity to check IT2011 entry. You can check IT2001 and based on that can give the error.

6. we have some grace timings for in punch and limits for early exits.

- Dosign the PCR accordingly.

am not clear with below points

1. where shall i include above operation in Rule TE20

2. even warning message is also not showing

3. If payroll will run without time evaluation, is it standard or we need to write PCR to restrict

4. will collect data and get back to forum
