Is there an API to create/change Handling Units (HU) for EWM in S4H Cloud ES?

Hello everyone,

A partner is asking: 

Is there an API to create/change Handling Units (HU) for EWM in S4H Cloud ES?

In case this API doesn't exist in SAP API Business Hub can we create a self-developed API to create/change Handling Unit for EWM Cloud in S/4 Hana Cloud?

Any feedback?

Hi Mario,

As mentioned by Marco there is no API to create or change handling units for Cloud WM (EWM) in S/4HANA Cloud yet.

It is not possible for customers to create their own API's, the process is to create a feature/improvement request in SAP Customer Influence Portal: https://influence.sap.com/S4HCSupplyChain

I checked and there are already 2 requests regarding this topic:

Both requests have been accepted and are now in Ideation phase.

Hi Luan,

Thank you so much for your reply. Good news to know that there are 2 requirements in the Influence portal that correspond to the customer's need. I will contact the authors to know more about their future availability.

Just for my understanding could you elaborate a bit why it is not possible for customers to create their own APIs?
