invoice numbers skipped

HI all,

Kindly suggest, we are facing issue on skipping invoice numbers, noticed particularly cancelled invoice series, And these number range fetching from standard configuration of VOFA only. And having " No buffering " for number range object - RV_BELEG.

Do multiple users create Invoice in your system simultaneously (at the same time)?

If yes, number range skipping may occur. Unique Number (e.g. 10001) is assigned to the Invoice when user starts the Transactions. Now few seconds another users starts creating (another) Invoice, next Number 10001 is assigned to this Invoice.

Now, in the meantime if the first users cancels the Transaction without saving the Invoice, Number 10001 is skipped and not consumed anymore.

Could be due to update termination / rollback for example. You can check report RSSNR0S1 to see if it provides you any further information.
