Hi,

This is about costing of the freight incurred in bringing in the goods.

As per std.accounting principles,this cost should be added to the cost of the materials.In other cases,this should be charged to the overheads.In case of capital assets this should be decided - whether to capitalize or not -based on the accounting policies being practiced by the firm.
