Inspection Lot Recording Inspect Column Values

Hi,

Please explain the following values as showing up while doing Result Recording in QE51N

An Inspection Lot was created for a quantity of 4460 EA quantity upon GR against PO.

In QE51N, can please someone explain the values as showing up in Column Inspect and Inspected. My concern is from where is the 4460 value coming only in the last four MICs. The first three are Quantitative MICs, next three are based on Catalogues and last one just a Qualitative MIC for recording Description.

When expanding any of the last four MIC to enter values it shows 4460 rows. We expect the same one value to be entered or selected for last four MICs too.

What are we missing or what settings are showing the same 4460 results to be recorded for exactly the same Quantity received against PO?

Regards

Faisal

Hi Faisal,

The 'Inspect' column is the quantity that you planned to inspect (so coming form the inspection plan).

The 'Inspected' are the actual inspected quantities. If you do not enter this yourself it will be defaulted with the planned quantity upon results entry.

If you need to enter one result for a MIC total planned quantity or a result per piece is defined in the Control indicator of the MIC (single result for a result per piece).

OK, will try this as presently this is the setting of one of the last four MIC. What exactly is this setting doing?

If you have a sample quantity of 20 Pieces:

Summarized result: one result for the 20 pieces (so 1 result, no differentiation per piece)

Single result: a result per piece (so 20 results, result per piece)
