Can HUM and SUM implemented together , if so what are the advantages and the disadvantages .
can some one help me on this .

If you have warehouse active for that storage location you should have SUM along with HUM. Otherwise not.
Agree with Above. A Handling Unit in a Warehouse IS a Storage Unit.
