How to activate Quick fix in Eclipse ADT ?

Hello,

I'm doing a S/4HANA 2020 SP01 conversion. I have done the conversion by SUM, and now I want to analyse my custom code to adapt it to S/4HANA. I've launched ATC with S/4HANA conversion check and I can see all the results in Eclipse in the ATC Result Browser.

I'm using Eclipse 2021-03 with ADT 3.18.

But I do not see option "Quick fix" as explained here: https://blogs.sap.com/2018/10/02/semi-automatic-custom-code-adaptation-after-sap-s4hana-system-conve...

Could you help me: what did I miss?

Thanks,

Regards,
Marion

Hi Marion,

when you execute a check run via ATC in SAP GUI you have to enable the calculation of quick fixes. Could you please check if this was the case in your check run.

Thomas.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for your answer. It was not activated... because on my side (S/4HANA 2020 SP01) I do not see this option!

Is there something to do to activate it?

Thanks for your help,

Marion

I think, the QuickFix depend of the error & the release. Not all error could be QuickFixed & With newer release you have more QuickFix possible

Hello Frederic,
I'm in the latest version (S/4HANA 2020 -> SAP_BASIS 755), and I don't see the Quick fix fonctionnality on any line (total 1500 lines) ... I think something is not activated, but what?

So Marion,

I am not an expert on this subject, so I just try on my S/4 system.

Here, it does not work on the view "ATC Result Browser", you need to switch to the view "ATC Problem". How to switch from the browser to the Problem, I don't know.

Take an object with a problem, display it in Eclipse. Open the view: Menu --> Window --> Show view --> Other search for ATC Problems.Run the ATC for the object (I think CTRL + SHIFT + F2) and here you will find the Quick Fix.

Now, the big question is how to put the result browser to the Problem view ....

OK thanks, I see it now in view "ATC Problem".

And I have the same question as you: how to have this view for the ATC result launched by ATC execution...?

Right click on the result to sent it to Problem view.

Then it seems to need a recheck

Hi Marion,

you have to apply the latest version of note 3000103. Then you will get the check box in SAP GI ATC.

Thomas.
