House Bank in External Reconciliation

I have a house bank setup and its assigned to a built in GL account for that bank account. When i try to do external bank reconciliations, the GL account for that bank doesnt appear on the list, but only when i remove the house bank account it appears.

What are the reasons I need to set a house bank account or is it ok to leave it empty ?

You need to update here below information:

1. G/L Account assigned to the House Bank - setup.

2. Which is the External Reconciliation window where the G/L Account is not appearing?

3. What is the currency of the G/L Account?

4. Is the G/L Account taken in the House Bank Setup not available in the External Reconciliation window?

1. GL was indeed assigned to the house bank

2. The window where you select the GL to reconcile against isnt showing the house bank GL. Only when i remove the house bank does the GL show in the reconciliations window.

3. The currency of both the GL is the same as the system currency

4. The ONLY GL not showing in the reconcilations window is the one that was defined in the house bank setup
