G/L Account

Can anybody tell me what r the steps to create G/L Account..

kindly send me step with their TCodes..

HI Anu shree,

First create chart of accounts TCODE:OB13

then assign chart of accounts to ur company code TCODE:OB62

then create account group in you chart of account TCODE:OBD4

Then make sure is retained earning account assogned to P&L statement type TCODE:OB53

then come in to the screen FS00:

1.give ur account number in from ur account group

2.give company code then select create button

3. give account group the number belongs to

fill all the required field then save

Thnx for the infor..

i had done the same ..still some prob is there after creating acc grp in chart of account.. i went in fs00.. again while creating account some warning is there ---<b>No PCAIL statement account type is defined in chart of account</b>.

in this step only i m getting stuck.

kindly solve my problem
