FAGL_ACTIVATE_OP_GL has some line items in open & some in posted status

Hello All,

issue: A particular GL as open item activated by the user, but it contains some line items which are converted to open status and remaining in Posted status (green tick). The user wants to convert the remaining items as open. Please let me know how do we achieve this. I tried with executing FAGL_ACTIVATE_OP but it ended with errors.

Hi Srinidhi

Create a new account with the correct account assignment. Post your items to the new account. If you want to use the original account number, you must bring the account balance to zero, change the account assignment, and repost the items. You can remove the old items by archiving the documents.

De-activate it then in FS00, and run the program. Alternatively, you can run RFSEPA02 program or its modified version, but in New G/L I won't recommend it.

Hi,

Switching on the flag on G/L account doesn't convert already posted items to open ones. What are the errors when you execute FAGL_ACTIVATE_OP?

Hi Eli,

The error is " Open Item management is already active", somehow the user activated it (trying to replicate the issue in quality, but no luck). Is there a way to convert the remaining non-open line items to open so that the GL contains only open line items. This is the ask by the user.
