Error Message-G/L account not defined as Tax account

while posting journal entry i'm getting the following error message

Hi Ratna,

you have checked automatic Tax check box. Unticked the same and select the GL account in first row.

If i do like that can able to add the JE, Can you Explain me the reason why i'm getting that error message.
