Hello All,
Could you please clarify how system picks up default PC in GL when
There is a constant defined with PC as "10000"
Dummy PC created as "Dummy"
An entry is maintained in table FAGL3KEH for the said account as " 20000"
My understanding was dummy PC is only a technical step for completeness of Controlling area setup and FAGL3KEH has priority over the constant.
The document splitting rule has inheritance and No default account assignment fields unchecked/ not activated.
In my case dummy PC is being derived even when a FAGL3KEH entry is maintained and a constant is defined.
Please let me know if I am missing anything here?
Thanks,
V
HI,
As per my understanding, in Activate Document splitting Inheritance unticked and standard account assignment may be ticked and u may be maintained the default profit center in Edit Constants for Nonassigned Processes at controlling area level.
Please check and confirm.
Thanks and Regards

Hi Binoj,
Thanks for your response.
I do not want to uncheck the inheritance because if there is a valid assignment then inhertiance will allow to derive that assignment to the offsetting posting.
My issue is there is a dummy PC created in the system as classic PCA was activated earlier which I deactivated later.
I could not delete the dummy PC, I understand SAP note 702854 allows to reset the dummy PC status.
The issue is without deleting the dummy PC by implementing the above note , it looks like the dummy PC has the preference over the constant PC or FAGL3KEH value and the splitting rules.
Thanks,
V
