Custom Analytical Query- Chart can't be rendered - no measures found

Dear Experts,

I have created CDS views with Analytical cube scenario. Whenever I tried to view the CDS report under

App- Custom Analytical Queries, I am getting warning message as mentioned below like "Chart can't be rendered - no measures found (probably part of UDH) ". However, when I add any field having Amount value to the CDS (e.g I_salesdocument- Net value). This warning message is disappearing. Actually , I don't want to do this one.

My CDS view doesn't need Net value to be projected at all.

Is there anyway to make disappear this warning message from displaying? My requirement is to still retain CDS with Analytical cube only . I have also checked the Procedure or diagnosis message as mentioned below. But I am unable to locate the Grid Toolbar -> "Hierarchy" -> "Axis Properties" in my web browser. Not sure.

Chart could not be rendered as key figures could not be identified"

Procedure

The reason is probably that the key figures are included in a "Universal Display Hierarchy" (which can be activated or deactivated by choosing Grid Toolbar -> "Hierarchy" -> "Axis Properties").

Charts can only be rendered if the dimension containing the key figures is not shown as Hierarchy.

Can you confirm if the CDS view you're using is I_salesdocument? And you dont want any 'Measure' to be populated in your final report. If you dont want any amount field to be populated, there are different ways of doing it. I can suggest few ways but please confirm the fields you're looking for. May be changing from SalesDocument to SalesOrder view can be an option for consideration.

Thanks for the update.

I would need to project basic fields like salesdocument, created by, sales document type along with CDS I_WorkflowRecipients and I_WorkflowStatusOverview to know the status of workflow tasks for each sales document.

The point here is unless i add Net amount or Net value this message "Chart can't be rendered - no measures found "cannot be disappeared. However, my requirement doesn't need to project the Net amount and Net value.

Hi Aravind,

This does not seem correct where you're trying join _WorkflowRecipients and I_WorkflowStatusOverview because there are Sales Document specific info available with CDS view. Not sure if I am missing something otherwise.
