Change Oportunity Counter

Hello there I'm brand new using SAP Business One, I just have two questions:

1) Do I lose my SAP support if I change the database by my self, i mean update a table?

2) I would like to change a counter so when I create a new oportunity it should start, for exemple in 10000, I already identify the table and did a test in a lab environment, should I move on or not, any thoughts?

Hi!

In SAP B1 u have a option Like FMS (Formatted Search) by that u can achive the automatic counter.
