I am trying to activate MTD in SAP B1 but when I tick the Making Tax Digital checkbox in the Company Details screen and try to update, I get the following error message:
Cannot add a new OBOS entry for Date 19000101 and Report Type S
I believe the system is trying to create an entry for the default system tax year set up in the VAT Declaration Boxes window (top left dropdown originally had a default year of 1900 when installing SAP B1). I cannot find anywhere to amend or delete the year that is causing the problem. My system is an older system that has been upgraded over a number of years which I recently upgraded to version 9.3 PL08 from PL05. It may be that a new fresh install does not have 1900 as a year in this selection field but my installation dates back to pre 2010.
Does anyone know how to resolve this?
