Budget carry forward for GR materials

Hi Experts,

We are using investment projects.

create project Budget it & goes for procurements. Create PR with account assigment Q in ME51N giving WBS.

covert that into PO then GR & get statistical actual posted(on S_ALR_87013558 shows on actual column)

when we Good Issue(GI) that item into same projects actual post to P&L account(still on S_ALR_87013558 shows on actual column)

When we carry forward budget, what would be the treatment for GR(not GI) portion.

would there be any budget chaeck for this again for new fiscal year at the point of GI.

Please advice..

Since Assigned value considers statistical postings as well, I do not think there will be an issue during GI, after carry forwarding the budget.

Hi,

Yes, as kishore & Abdul mentioned budget check is not happening at the point of GI .

I could test it in our testing client, actual posting on next year even without budget on that year.
