Breakdown time in reactive process in SAP Public Cloud for Asset Management

Hi Experts,

In SAP Asset Management, Public Cloud version, I try to capture the breakdown duration of the equipment.

I input the malfunction start time and tick on the breakdown indicator when creating a maintenance request. When the order is technically complete, I also complete the respective maintenance notification and input the reference time.

However, in the notification, there is no malfunction end and breakdown duration captured. They remain blank. I also use "Technical Object Breakdown" app, but the equipment above does not appear.

Could you help to guide me how to capture the breakdown time and why the breakdown equipment does not flow to Technical Object Breakdown report?

Many thanks,

Thoa

Hello thoahk

  1. Ensure that the malfunction data is completely maintained (i.e. the malfunction indicator is flagged, the malfunction start and end date must be maintained)
  2. Ensure that more than one malfunction notification per technical object is stored in the system (only one malfunction report isn't calculated for TimeToRepair and TimeBetweenRepair). Otherwise, the start up date has to be maintained for technical object.

Best Regards

Hi Enda,

Thanks for your response.

I use "Maintenance Request" app to create the request, and after being approved, it is called notification as well. I also mark the breakdown indicator when creating the request but still not able to capture the breakdown duration.

Do you have any idea?
