Adding Customer to Journal Entry upload

Hello,

We were told we could expand the basic journal entry template beyond what is standard. When i manually type in an entry i click assign profitability segment and i have the option to select a customer. I would like to add that option to my excel upload. How do I do this.

you need to create a custom logic for new field first and enable this for "Post General Journal Entries". Once the coding block is published, you can see the field in template. Hope this helps.

Hello,

this link does not address adding columns in Excel it addresses adding and changing fields in the tiles. Is there a way to add the column in Excel.
