Add PLD Layouts in 2005 through sdk

In 2005 we can add our layouts through sdk.

But does anyone know if it is possible to have a layout linked to your own form? Is it possible to make your own pld layouts for your own add on's and print?

Any response would be appreciated.

As you might already have assumed when you certainly noticed that the PLD menu item is disabled when a user-form is active - there's no support for that.

You will have to handle that by yourself - or through partner Add-Ons (I think ThirdWave's Crystal integration supports that, but I am not sure...).

...Or you just create a query + a layout for it..., but I am sure you know that already and ask specifically for layouts for user-def. (= own) forms, right?

The ReportLayout service is only for import/export/manipulation of the reports. Nothing else

I have had great success in using PDF as report-generator (All in code, but easy). Check out iTextSharp as an example. Easy to use af free...
