Absence Quota Generation upon Termination

Hi

Please help me on the below issue.

Currently quota is getting generated for each employee at the end of the month.For this, created the "generation rule" with accrual period as "Month".

Issue : However, if the employee gets terminated before the end of the month no quota is getting generated for that termination month. Attached generation rule and PCR screenshot.

e.g. employee terminates on 16th Jan 2020, then his quota should be prorated and generated on his last working day i.e, 15th Jan 2020

Requirement : Every month employee is eligible to get 12 hrs/month and accrual should be given at the end of the month.If employee terminates before the end of the month, his quota should be prorated as per the formula = ([no.of hours worked (IT2002)/174 hrs]*12hrs) and transferred to IT2006 on the last working day.

Could you please advise how to generate the quota on the last working day?

Hi,

In your PCR, manually calculate the quota you require the employee to get and assign the value to a time type created specifically for this scenario. Create a separate quota generation rule which fires daily and takes its value from your new time type. This will be processed daily by the QUOTA function but will only update the quota when you have assigned a value to the appropriate time type.

Alternatively you can update the quota with operator UPDTQA in your PCR, though for clarity I prefer use QUOTA.
