Where is Material Determination Supported in CRM 7.0

SAP help makes it sound like Interaction Center WinClient, in SAP E-Commerce, and in Channel Management.

But winclient isn't supported in 7.0 which makes me question the SAP help.

I'm having issues with it in ISA B2B, would be nice if the functionality worked in online in the gui (does it?)

In CRM Table /1CN/CCRSAP001 I can see the same conditions that i see in ECC table KOTD001 (yes I see the material guids in CRM but via table COMM_PRODUCT) they are the same.

In R3AC5 for DNL_COND_D001 on the Tables tab, are these the only 4 tables that should show?

All the configuration has been pulled over, looks correct in the CRM IMG and the order type is transactions is to the same Product Substitutioin Procedure we use in ECC.

Product Determination: Customizing

The profile for alternative IDs is set in Customizing: Cross-Application

Components u2192 SAP Product u2192 Alternative Product IDs u2192 Define Profiles.

You set up product determination or material determination in SAP ERP and

download this to SAP CRM (Customizing data as well as condition records).

You can display the settings for product determination and the substitution reasons

in the CRM system. In Customizing, choose Customer Relationship Management

u2192 Basic Functions u2192 Product Substitution.

You assign the product determination procedure and the profile for alternative ID

types in Customizing for business transactions. In Customizing, choose Customer

Relationship Management u2192 Transactions u2192 Define Transaction Types u2192 Basic

Settings.

Thank you, I didn't realize the alternative product id configuration was also required as part of the setup.

Do any of the delivered profiles work? or does something new need to be set up?

These four profiles exist (I assume come delivered)

The BUS1178 DEFAULT PROFILE FOR PPR TYPES

has only a single entry in ID Type = PRODUCT_ID

Or perhaps the proper question is what ID type do we need to use in our procedure?
