Restrict access Action Delete by user in SAP C4C

Good morning; I need to restrict users' access to the delete action in the attachment tab within the client.

I have already checked the option to restrict "fields and actions" within the user role, but here I do not have the option to restrict the delete action from the attachment, within the client,

Another solution I found was related to changing the layout, however, in my scenario I have users who share the same layout and differ only by their access profile, so I needed to restrict this access by user role level and not by layout.

Would it be possible to restrict access by deleting client attachments via profile? Is there another solution?

Hello Lucas,

If creating seperate layouts for the various user groups is not feasible, then I believe your only option is to attempt this through code in sdk.

That's what I was imagining, I wanted a simpler way to be able to carry out this restriction but I think the only way will really be through the SDK or via separation of the layout, right?

That is correct. Separation of layouts (though cumbersome) seems to be the only option in the standard solution if you do not want to go the SDK route. There doesn't seem to be any other option at the business role level.

Another long shot option is the possibility through "SAP Build" which is SAP's no code/ low code solution. I have seen some other users in the community use SAP Build to add new functionality to C4C. However I'm not quite sure if it would allow us to add restrictions to standard functionality. And you would need licenses to SAP Build which i think is approx. $1000 per month for 25 users. You could try this in a trial SAP Build account and see if it would help.
