Dear community, I hope you're doing well,
I have a question regarding the Emarsys Contact Data fields. I understand that there are different types of these, including System Fields, Custom Fields and Product Fields.
Regarding the Product Fields, which features activates automatically Product Fields, such asin the SMS case?
Specifically, If I activate Mobile Engage (Push Notifications), the opt-in and other fields are created automatically for this channel (if so, someone knows the usual Field String ID in Emarsys)? Or should I create the channel-specific opt-ins (example: c_opt_in_push) manually?
Thanks in advance!
Juan Cabrera
Hi Juan,
Emarsys SMS is a paid add-on, as it's activated, Emarsys automatically creates these product fields (such as Mobile SMS Opt-in field) in your account, you needn't manually create it.
Furthermore, you can look up related field id for these product fields in Field Editor, for example, the field id for "Mobile SMS Bad Number" is 50328 in my system and the field string id is blank, please note since these add-on are enabled individually for each account, their IDs will vary from account to account.
Hopefully it can help you a little.
Thanks

Hi safin, I hope you're doing well,
Thank you very much for your quick answer.
This is for the SMS case, but ¿Do you know if this is the same case for Mobile Engage (specifically for push notifications)? If you have activated Mobile Engage ¿Could you please share with me the Field String ID (the tech name) that Emarsys shows you?
Thanks!
Juan Cabrera
Hi safin,
Thanks for your answer. I think this is very clear for me, but this leads me to another question.
In case I want to migrate contacts from my origin database that has a channel-specific opt-in field (e.g. For SMS), How I can match this field in recurring contacts updates with the Product Field?
