Email heatmap for reporting/analytics

Hi guys,

Is there a way in the Analytics/reporting section of SAP Marketing Cloud to see what the most clicked link on the email was? In previous email systems that I've used there was an email 'heatmap' you could access to see where on the email most clicks occurred.

Thanks,

David.

Thanks Christian,

Currently is there another way in which to see how many clicks per link on an email there has been? Whether I can generate a list in the Analytics gallery or through another means?

Thanks,

David.

Hi david89a
You can see the number of click in the campaign performance page.
There is also the possibility to create a reporting cds view and use the view browser app.

Thanks Christian,

The Campaign Performance page only shows total clicks per email, I'd like to see a breakdown of clicks per link on the email - e.g:

CLAIM NOW > - 26 clicks

LEARN MORE > - 13 clicks

UNSUBSCRIBE LINK - 2 clicks

Is there not a way to do this?

Thanks,

David.

Hello David,

To achieve this, you need to maintain a unique 'link alias' in your email content, and then you can access this information as follows:

1) Navigate to the Analytics & Report Gallery app

2) Select the Campaign Performance operational report

3) Click ‘Go’ with default filters

4) Toggle the Navigation Panel

5) Search for dimension ‘link alias’

6) Add Link Alias to the row axis

7) Expand the result list to full screen

Kind regards,

Mohannad

Hi Christian,

Would you know what happened to this development? It seems like the functionality is not available as of today?

Thank you,
Kevin

Hi kevinvn

Please check Mohannads comment above. In the step 5 you can add the 'Content Name' or the 'Content Link Name' also depending on how the data is setup.

Regards,
