the AET is able to extend the interactive reporting content for most applications which are build on the oneOrder framework e.g. sales order, opportunitiy,...
Usually you should find a dropdown in the field definition where you can specify a reporting type (key figure or characteristic). If you choose one it will do the extensions.
Afterwards you only need to add the new fields to the reports you want.
