Hi ,
One question on the system wide defaults for displaying date and values. In the CUA it shows dates using a period ".", like Europe does, instead of the slashes "/". Where can those be adjusted for system defaults, not just user account defaults?
We would like to have System default date as MM/DD/YYYY . Please suggest
Environment : SAP ECC 6.0 / Oracle 10g /Sun Solaris with CUA as Solution Manager 4.0
Thanks & Regards
Ganesh

Hi Ganesh,
are you looking for profile parameter zcsa/moddatfm (and possibly zcsa/moddcpfm for decimal point)? See also OSS note [1322151 - SU01: User is not distributed correctly to CUA-Target|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1322151].
Not sure what you mean by system default. If you're looking for date format chosen in output documents you most likely would have to look at the configuration defaults per country (transaction OY01), where you maintain a date format per country.

Users log-in to system will view the date as per their settings set in their user profile in Default tab. So if all the users having a settings MM/DD/YYYY then the purpose can be solved. SU10 can be used for mass changes.

Hi,
The format that appears by Default for date printing in the List is picked from SU01 parameters or SU3
You can change the defaults by going into ur system profile.
Su01 - Change - Go into Defaults tab.
U can see various details like Start Menu, Logon lamguage, Decimal notation and date format. Choose the format u want and save .
But the Date Format Is not reflected just by changing the format, you need to Log Off and Log In again to see the changed format in the output.

Hope this helps.

Hi Harald,
The parameters you have mentioned seems working to my requirement . I have set parameter "zcsa/moddatfm " with value 2 which makes default date for every new user creation to MM\DD\YYYY.
Thanks for the support .I appreciate it .
Thanks & Regards
Ganesh
