Sending Alert in mail?

Hi All,

I have created the Alert category, Alert rules and I have added my name in SU01, but still iam not able to get the mails when any error occures in the scenario IDOC to File.

If aimk missing any setting that need to be done please let me know.

Hi,

just guess. Did you check email queue in SCOT. By default SAP does not send emails immediately. You need to schedule a background job. Anyway I guess that SAP sends alert emails immediately but you never know.

hi ,

You can adopt Simple Approach,

1. Put one more receiver service in your Receiver determination step along with the current File Service.

2. in the new service send the mail using the standard XI mail adapter to emial receipents.
