HI all,
In my EWM project we have a requirement to pack Handling Unit's into a master Handling Unit, please suggest some EWM method / FM to achieve this.

Hello,
I am not sure on your requirement but we do have transaction : /n/SCWM/PACK where in you can pack / unpack Handling units. Its kind of work center for consolidation or de consolidation of Handling units which is very user friendly and easy to use.

Hi Sarad,
Thank you for your reply, but we are trying to replicate that standard method that you suggested with some FM/BAPI for packing if available. if you have used any such method please suggest.

Hi Melvin,
I hope till now you have done your job related to HU packing.
So can you please let me know that which BADI did you use for the implementation.
is it SCWM/ES_WRKC_PACK what you used?

Hi Melvin,
You can go for creating a nested HU i.e HU inside a HU .
Either you can go to pack function or create a task and go to picck hu tab and scan/enter HU ID .
The second solution would be helpful in case you want to use external no ranges for master carton or master HU.
