LSMW - Transport Procedure - {Points will be awarded}

Dear Guys

Is there any way to transport LSMW through transport requests instead of Export/Import.

We dont want that users perform Export Import with out consulting BASIS personnels and all work should pass through transports requests,

Hi,

You can transport a LSMW project in full (you can not select the objects you want). With this method, the project will be transported as any other SAP object in a transport order.

LSMW -> Extras -> Create change request

Ok Thanks and is there any way to stop export import utitlity so that projects will be transport through Transport Requests only.

I think its not possible to stop export import utitlity.

Hi Adnan,

I think you could use authorization object 'B_LSMW' to stop export/import.

Try to remove authorization object = 'B_LSMW', tcd = 'LSMW', actvt = '36' from the user.

Hi Adnan,

I dont think so if any, you may have to personalize the screen or set some variant like that, not sure!.
