Infotype 0002 persional ID not updating

I need to update persional ID.

i Used transaction PA30,

Enter infotype number 2 or select Personal Data (0002) on the Personal Data tab

You can use any <b>Malaysian</b> employee #

Click on change button

Enter in an ID number.

Click either the enter or save button. The ID number disappears and a message says ‘No change found’.

help me regarding this.

are you trying to change employee personnel number in PA30??

If yes, you cant change the employee number in PA30, all other info u can change. For creating a new employee use transaction PA40.

not personal no.

Q0002-perid. it come only for malasian employee.

2. Which field are u talking about in infotype 0002.

( i could not find such field)

you need to select Malaysian employee no.

then only you can find that field.
