SNAPSHOT in APO?

Hi All,

I am supposed to design a few reports based on APO Forecast Accuracy. I have heard about SNAPSHOT but I need clear understanding on what role does it play in the modelling layer and the reporting layer?

Also, can you please let me know how and where to create the versions? And are the versions or snapshots - any one of them based on TIMESTAMP?

Request you give me a basic understanding on these topics.
