Maintenance Plan Schedulling challange :- One sap system to another

Hello SAP Gurus Need some advice.

We are migrating from one SAP system to another and so will be maintenance plan. The creation of Maintenance plan seems okay but schedulling seems a Big Challange.

1. Single cycle Maintenance plan (Time) :- In to be system we will start the plan with As is system last call completion date.

2. Single Cycle Maintenance plan (Performence):- In to be system we will create a Measurement document for the counter (with total Measurement reading) with same date and Time as the last measurement document of As is System. We will start the schedulling with Start Counter reading in to be system as same as Start counter reading of As is system. ( Which tabel to refer to find out the start counter reading of as is system as Maint plan may have been restarted). But this will generate lot of calls in to be system that we will have to Skip, how the mass Skip of calls can be done. ??

3. Strategy Plan :- Start in cycle ? how do i skip the calls that are already generated?

4. Multiple counter plans >? any inputs ?

Thanks

For counter/strategy based plans use the Start-in-Cycle, then there will be no calls to skip..

Not sure what your issue is with the multi counter plans. Create the measurement point/documents as required, then schedule.

Hi Pete

I need your help, I know you can answer my question as u give answer in http://scn.sap.com/thread/3210421.

BTW i also opened teh ticket under the subject:

"Table to get all related Objects for a particular maintenance Order."

In Tcode IW33 (Maintenance Order), If u go to 'Objects' tab, it will show you all the Serial Numbers.

I wanted to fetch all the serial numbers related to a particular Maintenance order. I tried to find all the PM tables but could find the appropriate relation.

Could you pls send me the required table and their relation to have all serial number related to a particular maintenance order.

I'll appreciate!

Appreciate!!

If Call status is Hold, then you can skip the calls in IP19 (Maintenance Plan simulation).

Once calls are created, if you don't want to execute those orders, then in Order, you have the option of Do Not Execute. But you have to use LSMW to do it in mass else you have to do it for individual order.
